Registration will take place next to the track ON: Saturday, July 11, 2009 FROM 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note the time. If you registered your child online and you are new to our league, you must come on July 11 to show us verification of birthdate. You may bring a birth certificate or passport. HOSPITAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Volunteers are the lifeline of our league, which is made up of volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, board members, administrators, and team parents. West Covina Youth Soccer's ability to put on a successful Fall 09 season depends on committed volunteer coaches. Your child will benefit from every minute you help out. A coach's training class will be offered for those who wish to coach but are not licensed. California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) certified instructors train all coaches. All coaches are fingerprinted and a background check is performed by CYSA. If you are interested in more information about volunteering in our league contact any Board Member. Interested in coaching? Bring a soccer ball, wear shin guards, cleats and bring plenty of water. Age - Boys must be UNDER 11 years old as of July 31, 2009 and at least nine (9) years old as of August 1, 2009. ALL SIGNATURE LEAGUE PLAYERS MUST PLAY 50% OF EVERY GAME. Signature League was created by CalSouth to help coaches and players move beyond recreational soccer and into a more competitive environment.
